Hey guys šš¾ Hope all is well in your world. Itās still surprisingly cold where I am, and if that is the case for you and yours, I am sending nothing but positive vibes and hopeful thoughts your way. šš¾
On this day I have the pleasure to present you with another light in this world, JoVonna J. She is an ah-mazing licensed massage therapist that puts a little extra love and care into how she handles your body. Youāll mess around and loose a doctor after you leave a session. š You shouldnāt be surprised (simply bc we are magical) that although massaging is her passion, itās not the only one. The best title would be an overall healer. Take some time to get to know a beautiful person and how you can support her and possibly heal your body as well.š„°
How long have you shared your art with the world and how did you start?
I have shared my gift as a licensed massage therapist for 5 ¹/² years. In retrospect, I have been an Inuitive Healer since I was about the age of 4. My Grandmother would come from a long day at work and I, a born nuturer, would rub her feet. She would fall asleep EVERYTIME. My young mind attributed her falling asleep to being tired from her day at work. Momo would wake up from a slumber she didn't realize she fell into and "Little girl, you indeed have healing hands!"
One day, In Kindergarten, I was being a grade A teacher's pet and was rubbing my teacher's shoulders. She too, fell asleep! Once again, my young mind assumed that she was tired. (Whispers) It was obvious that all those little kids were exhausting.
In high-school and college, friends and fellow atheltes would often ask me for assistance when they were in pain or Injured. Consciously, I did not understand why they would come to me for help; Instinctively I always knew what to do to aid in their recovery.
When someone in my family is unwell, I make teas and tinctures to aid in their recovery. I've been known to knock out cold, flu, and hangover symptoms quicker than over the counter meds!
I said all this to say, I was born a healer. I didnt choose this gift, it was bestowed upon me by The Most God! I have come to realize qis my life's purpose!
What or who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my Mom and Grandma! They've always spoke life over me. Instilling in me that there's power and healing within me. I didn't understand it growing up. Now, at 31 years young, it finally resonates with me and I accept the gift that I've been blessed with.
What do you want to leave behind?
I want to leave behind Hope, Love and Light! Life on Earth comes with many pains, trials and tribulations. I want to help alleviate some of that pain and remind the people that there's hope! Theres more to life than the trauma that's been endured! There is healing!
What is it that the general public can do to support you?
I may be supported by supporting yourself and your loved ones! EVERYONE needs and could benefit from soft tissue therapy! There are many variations that can accommodate all needs and ailments.

What, if any, advice would you give to someone that is looking to grow within your field?
Massage Therapist are very compassionate and serving individuals. We give ALOT to our clients. The average massage therapist career is 6 YEARS! SIX! That within itself speaks volumes of how taxing this field can be on the body if preventative measures are taken.
Self-care and self- preservation are key to a long-lasting career as a massage therapist. Hydration, stretching, exercise, eating nutrient dense foods, Rest, setting boundaries and of course getting Massages are all important! Its imperative that we practice what we preach!
