HIStory as told by Jermo

Hey 👋🏾 Hope all is well in your world. We are walking towards the end of February and I hope this month was good to you. The shortest month with some of the most important celebrations. Melanin, love, and carnival seems like some things worth highlighting, sort of like the amazing individual that so lovingly accepted my invitation to be featured on the site. I have a friend filled with personality, talent, and perseverance and he goes by Jermo. This particular segment is a bit more personal than most simply because we were just working together artistically at my last showcase. Jermo was the host and he did such an amazing job that I needed to share him and some of the creative things that he offers for viewing and purchasing. Check out his responses to a few questions concerning his why and the businesses he has below ⬇️

  1.    How long have you shared your art with the world and how did you start?

- I’ve been sharing my design since about 2010, but I’ve been sewing since I was 6, my great grandmother taught me.

    2.    What or who is your biggest inspiration?

-MISSY ELLIOTT is my whole and biggest inspiration to my designing, I’m an out the box person and she is definitely one of a kind!

    3.    What do you want to leave behind?

- I guess I want to leave the objective of being your own person behind, too many people try to do what everyone else does and what’s trending, how do you stand out if you’re like everybody else!

    4.    What is it that the general public can do to support you?

-Honestly just like and share, I don’t expect too much out of people these days. Here’s my instagram

    5.    What, if any, advice would you give to someone that is looking to grow within your field?

- only advice I have is to stay consistent which I often don’t, but I have to take steps back often to readjust. But consistency really is KEY!

I surely appreciate Jermo taking the time to give insight into one of his many ventures. I hope you would take the time to view his instagram to get a view of his projects and travels. May the last few days of this month bring prosperity and productivity. Until the next "story". Take care.
