Hey 👋🏾 Hope all is well in your world. In the middle of Black History Month lies the day (marketed) to celebrate love. On this site we honor and appreciate love in all forms, but we uplift Black Love simply because it’s like no other. It’s very seldom a positive subject, and tends to fall to the wayside in the conversations of others, but not here. When you sprinkle a little entrepreneurial magic in the midst of building that love its immaculate and inspirational. We like to highlight duality, creativity, and prosperity.
Today I have the pleasure of sharing an amazingly talented and multifaceted couple. I’ve worked with them on a few occasions in front of the camera throughout the years and it’s a vibe like no other. The bodies of work presented have depth, push boundaries, and dwell deeply in the expression love visually. Now outside of their joint photography company there are individual business that have to be addressed from music to custom earrings. All dope expressions of art. I promise 🤞🏾. It’s a pleasure to share a dynamic duo and I’m grateful they took the time to answer a few questions about their journey down Lover’s Lane. ❤️
Q1: What’s your love story? How and when did you meet?
Anthony and I met in the year of 2005 during the time of Hurricane Rita. I was visiting some friends that were attending ULM at the time. My girls and I decided to have a girls night out to celebrate, where I would go to meet Mr. ATM.
At the time he only carried his initials as his rap name. He would later add BlakCard to his rap name years later. It was just a great connection from first sight. We went on a few dates and the rest is history.
We have been married for 11 years and dating for almost 17 years.
Q2: . What are your individual careers and how can the public support?
Anthony: Anthony Mitchell, also known as Blakcard ATM, is known for being a recording artist and an overall visual creator. I enjoy directing motion films, photoshoots, behind the scenes documentaries, writing and recording in the studio, anything that allows me to be creative, I enjoy telling those stories.
The easiest way someone can support me is to listen to my full catalog at least once a month, add your favorite songs to your daily playlist, and subscribe to my YouTube all under the name of BLAKCARD ATM.

Q3: How do you balance romanticism and your careers?
Santana: Balance is very important in every aspect of life. Anthony and I seem to balance our business relationship and personal life’s fairly well. The respect he has for me makes it a lot easier to maintain those two very relationships. Although we agree to disagree at times he always have my back and I’ll always have he’s.
It’s important that you understand each other’s love Language and Communicate is key. Knowing each other likes and dislikes play a big part in relationship growth.
Anthony:
Balancing romanticism and career is fairly easy, because we are together all the time. We have to be able to disagree humbly. If we can get along great when we disagree, or have an alternate perspective, then the rest is easy to keep flowing naturally.

Q4: What are the biggest lessons that you take from each other?
Anthony: One lesson that has stuck with me the most is to be a good team player, by communicating even the smallest details properly, and to always lead with compassion.
Santana: The biggest lessons I’ve learned from my husband has been to remain positive and calm when I’m feeling overwhelmed and anxious. He always have a crazy view on how and why things happen, oddly he’s normally right.
I would like to thank you for taking this journey down Lover’s Lane by way of the Mitchells. Please check out the services, products, and entertainment expressed above. 🙏🏾May your February continue with good intentions and the love that’s supposed to be in the air ❤️
